Buckner HeavyLift owns a large fleet of cranes ranging from 8 ton through 1,000 ton. Buckner's major emphasis is on lattice boom crawler cranes over 100 tons. Buckner is exceptionally strong in the area of our seven Liebherr LR1400/1 - 440/750 ton crawler cranes with derrick attachments and luffing jibs. These cranes have boom lengths up to 575' and working radius up to 390'.

Buckner has a large workforce of skilled ironworkers, operators, welders, riggers and supervisors. The majority of our employees are long term "Buckner" employees. The workforce ranges from 300 to 400 employees.

We are consistently ranked by Engineering News-Record as one of the top twenty-five Steel Erectors in the USA and as one of the To 600 Specialty Contractors. "International Cranes" has ranked us (by tonnage) as one of the Top Crane Companies in the World. Buckner Steel is one of only approximately twenty American Institute of Steel Construction "Advanced Category" Certified Steel Erectors. Buckner is also a certified precast concrete erector by the Precast Concrete Institute.

Our safety performance earns us recognition and projects on a regular basis.

Our crane operators are CCO certified.

Buckner performed erection, rigging and crane rental over much of the Eastern USA with certain projects taking us to places such as Saudi Arabia and Puerto Rico.

Buckner's management team has over 500 years total construction experience and our office staff, field superintendents and craft workers are extremely knowledgeable and committed.
