The project requires 10,000 tons of structural steel, of which custom built-up boxes and shapes, and 66 roof trusses consisting of a combination of steel with laminated wood and a steel cable system, the longest truss having a span of 430 feet (131 meters). The roof structure will be exposed to view as part of the terminal design.
